ILA is an intentional community that will serve the needs of its IDD residents and support the growing programming and service needs of the greater community. These services may include specific types of advanced programming, vocational, athletic and lifestyle events. We are collaborating with strategic partners to integrate these services into the ongoing operations of ILA.

Services Overview

· Safety and Security
· Life skills programming
· Special needs athletic training
· Meal preparation
· Social Activities
· Walkability to Cherry Hill Village businesses and amenities
· On-site Fitness facilities
· Outdoor walking and cycling trails
· Large commons areas & gathering spaces both inside and outside

We are working hard to bring this project to reality to provide a much-needed service to the IDD community. Below are ways you can help this vision become reality.

1. Financial support:

ILA is a 501c3 non-profit organization. We have secured property in Canton Township to construct this meaningful project. We need financial support to complete the development of our intentional community. One time or monthly donations can be accepted on this website: https:/

2. In-kind donations:

if you can provide in-kind support, we would enjoy talking to you – where there is a will, there is a way!

3. Volunteering:

there are a number of activities ongoing at ILA, whether it be committee work or special projects or building a village. If you can volunteer your expertise, we are very willing to put your talents to good work.

4. Communication:

if you can help us get our message out, we could always use ambassadors and champion promoters.

Thank you for your interest in Independent Living Alliance!
