Planned Services | Ways You Can Help
HOUSING
- Residents pay a market rent
- Rent increases annually at the same rate Social Security Income (SSI) increases
- Residents are required to pay full rent if financially able
- Donations will be used to subsidize a portion of rent if the resident cannot support the full rent payment
- Donations towards rent will allow residents to remain within the community
SUPPORT SERVICES
- Residents require Long Term Services and Supports (LTSS) ranging from 10 hours/week to a full 24/7
- Direct Support Professionals (DSP) provide this assistance for residents
- Assistance is provided with grocery shopping, laundry, cooking, cleaning and many other daily activities that we take for granted
- Some DSP live on-site and are available to assist residents with emergencies during working and non-working hours
- Donations will help support all of these services within the ILA community
TRANSIT ACCESS
- Almost all of the residents lack the ability to drive
- Transportation to jobs, doctor appointments, grocery stores and social activities is provided
- Donations will ensure residents have access to all of these activities
SOCIAL EVENTS
- Organized social events are provided for residents in the ILA community
- Movie and game nights, dances, fitness classes, cooking classes, sport events, and arts and crafts experiences
- Donations will ensure a resident is never left out of a community activity based on their lack of financial resources
ADMINISTRATIVE COSTS
- Administrative services are necessary to organize all of the activities and assure that the residents are offered an opportunity to lead as independent lives as possible
- ILA’s goal is to dedicate as many of the donated funds as possible directly to services for the residents
SECURITY
- The property has 24 hour security and utilizes smart-home technology to protect the residents
